Flagship Programs

ECHO Autism | Advanced Diagnosis

Sessions: Year Round

WHEN: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays | 11:45 am – 1:15 pm CT

AIM:  ECHO Autism: Advanced Diagnosis aims to increase local access to community-based psychologists who deliver gold-standard autism diagnostic evaluations.

HUB TEAM:

ECHO Autism | Advocates

Sessions: February - December 2024

WHEN:  First & Third Friday | 10:00 – 11:30 am CT

AIM:  The ECHO Autism: Advocates Program aims to equip family and self-advocates with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate complex support systems, actively connect people on the spectrum and their families to high-quality, best-practice resources, services and supports, as well as influence policy.

ECHO Autism | Behavior Solutions in Hospitals

Sessions: April 8, 2024 - May 20, 2024

WHEN: Mondays | 1:15 – 2:45 pm CT

AIM:  ECHO Autism: Behavior Solutions in Hospitals aims to improve care for autistic individuals in hospital settings and improve wellbeing for the staff providing care in hospitals.

HUB TEAM: 

  • Clinical Psychologist who specializes in severe behavior
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
  • Resource Expert
  • Parent of a child on the spectrum
  • Pediatric Hospitalist

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Hospital based Health Care Teams including Mental Health Care Team and ED Teams; Physicians, Nurses, Social Work, Child Life Specialists, Patient Advocates, Hospital Administration, Psychologists, Security, etc.

ECHO Autism | Behavior Solutions in Schools

Sessions: Year Round

WHEN: 1st and 3rd Mondays | 1:00 – 2:00 pm CT AIM: ECHO Autism: Behavior Solutions in Schools aims to improve care for autistic children by helping participants understand the principles of behavior, learn and use behavior management across the school setting, know when and how to collaborate effectively with school behavior specialists, and understand roles of medical evaluation and learn strategies to help when giving medications. NOTE: This program is an effort by our sister-superhub, Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN). Please complete the registration and select Autism: Behavior Solutions in Schools.  After registration is complete, instructions on how to join the ECHO sessions will be shared by email.

ECHO Autism | Early Intervention

Sessions: September 11, 2023 - May 13, 2024

WHEN: 2nd and 4th Mondays | 11:15 am – 12:45 pm CT

AIM: ECHO Autism: Early Intervention aims to increase local access to community-based interventionists who deliver evidence-based, autism focused early intervention for children with autism, ages 12 months to 8 years.

HUB TEAM:

  • Occupational Therapist
  • Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst
  • Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
  • Parent of a child on the spectrum/Pediatrician

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  School and Community based Early Interventionists (e.g., Speech-Language Pathologists & Occupational Therapists, Behavior Analysts, Special Educators).

ECHO Autism | Mental Health

Sessions: October 2023 - June 2024

WHEN: 2nd and 4th Mondays from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm CT

AIM: ECHO Autism: Mental Health aims to improve care for autistic people with common psychiatric disorders by increasing access to clinicians equipped to deliver best-practice therapeutic modalities modified for autistic people

HUB TEAM:

  • Clinical Psychologist
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist;
  • Autistic Consultant
  • Family Advocate
  • Resource Specialist

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Licensed or provisionally licensed Mental Health Clinicians who are currently delivering CBT (e.g., LPC, PhD, LCSW, MFT, MD, PLPC, LMSW, PSYD)

This ECHO Autism program operates as a closed cohort. Please complete the interest form for information about our next cohort starting in the fall.

ECHO Autism | Primary Care

Sessions: Year Round

WHEN: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays | 11:45 am – 1:15 pm CT

AIM: ECHO Autism: Primary Care aims to increase local access to community-based Primary Care physicians and practitioners delivering best practice screening, early identification, and management of medical and psychiatric comorbidities with additional training and expertise in diagnosis autism in young children with unambiguous symptoms.

NOTE: This program is an effort by our sister-superhub, Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN). Please complete the registration and select AUTISM.  After registration is complete, instructions on how to join the ECHO sessions will be shared by email.

AIM: The ECHO 4 ECHO Autism program aims to support ECHO Autism Communities partner organizations with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop robust, sustainable programs throughout all stages of program development and implementation.
