You have been identified as a Advocates Network Member and will have direct access to participate in ECHO Autism: Advocates Sessions! The Zoom links below will allow you to participate as a panelist.

To guarantee you will receive all emails about program information and links please follow these simple steps to add ECHOAutism@Missouri.edu to your Safe Senders List.

- Open the ‘Welcome Email’ sent to you by ECHOAutism@Missouri.edu when you completed the Advocates Registration. Be sure to check both your inbox and junk or spam folders.
- Click on More Options (three vertical dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the email.
- Click on Add to Safe Senders.
- Confirm by clicking Ok.
Add to Gmail
- Open the ‘Welcome Email’ sent to you by ECHOAutism@Missouri.edu when you completed the Family Advocates Registration. Be sure to check both your inbox and junk or spam folders.
- Click on More Options (three vertical dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the email.
- Click on Add Sender Name to Contacts List.
- A notification saying ‘The sender has been added to your contacts list’ should appear at the bottom of the screen.
Add to Yahoo
- Open the ‘Welcome Email’ sent to you by ECHOAutism@Missouri.edu when you completed the Family Advocates Registration. Be sure to check both your inbox and junk or spam folders.
- Copy the email address
- Click the Contacts icon located in the upper right-hand corner of your Yahoo! Mail Inbox Homepage. When you scroll over the first icon, it should say ‘Contacts’.
- Click ‘Add a new contact’ located below the list of your contacts.
- Fill in the contact details and paste the email address you wish to add to your contact list.
- Click Save.
Overview
GOAL: The ECHO Autism: Advocates Program aims to equip family and self-advocates with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate complex support systems, actively connect people on the spectrum and their families to high-quality, best-practice resources, services and supports, as well as influence policy.
HUB TEAM:
- CDC’s Act Early Ambassador to Missouri/ECHO Autism Communities Director of Strategic Initiatives/Parent of a child on the spectrum
- Vice President of EasterSeals Midwest, National Advocacy Expert
- Information Specialist Statewide Lead for Missouri Department of Mental Health Division of Developmental Disabilities/ Parent of a child on the spectrum
- Pediatrician/ Parent of a child on the spectrum
- Licensed Behavior Analyst/Educational Administrator
- University of Missouri Director of Accessibility & American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, National Advocacy Expert
