Continuing Medical Education (CME) 

The University of Missouri – Continuing Education for Health Professions is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Missouri – Continuing Education for Health Professions designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)  

The University of Missouri, Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. 

Part 1 of this course is approved for up to 0.75 ASHA CEUs at the intermediate level. Part 2 of this course is approved for up to 1.35 ASHA CEUs at the intermediate level. Attendees may only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

LPC, Social Work, Psychology, 50-minute hour CEs

The University of Missouri Continuing Education for Health Professions (CEHP) is part of an accredited university in the state of Missouri. As such, this program meets the requirements for Licensed Professional Counselors, Psychologists, and Social Workers with Missouri licenses. CEHP attests that this program contains 1.5 clock hours of instructional time.  Licensed professionals measuring CE credit based on a 50-minute hour may claim up to 1.8 Contact Hours for full attendance at this program.

Financial Disclosure: Dr. Kristin Sohl is a salaried professor in Pediatrics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Her research funding has included funding from the National Institute of Mental Health, the United States Department of Defense, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Health Resource Service Administration, Cognoa, and Autism Speaks. She receives an honorarium for intermittent teaching about autism and use of technology to expand capacity. In the past, she received financial compensation for consulting as a clinical advisor with Quadrant Bioscience. Non-financial: In addition to her salaried faculty position, Dr Kristin Sohl volunteers her time to serve on the advisory boards of ParentLink, Profound Autism Alliance and chairs the AAP Subcommittee on Autism.
